GO Somewhere

Whether it’s New Orleans or India, we leave our own neighborhoods to be in others.

We don’t go as fixers; we go as servant-learners. And we believe in forming lasting, reciprocal relationships with the people we serve. That’s how homes get built, victims comforted, patients cared for, children rescued and lives literally changed.

Trying to decide which trip is right for you? Click here to learn how we think about GO trips.

Below are the trips we’re doing in 2012. Signups for each trip open up about five months before the trip begins.

Big Trip

This trip is open to anyone, and offers a variety of ways for people to serve. Choose to GO for one or both weeks.

GO New Orleans Week 1: July 21-29
Week 2: July 28- Aug 5

200 people each week, 400 total
We’ll continue helping rebuild the city of New Orleans with our friends at Franklin Avenue Baptist Church. Projects include Habitat for Humanity, Vacation Bible School and free portraits for families that lost pictures in Hurricane Katrina.

Who we need: Anyone who wants to be part of the team—everyone is welcome.

Specialized Trips

These smaller trips have a more narrow focus, and require both specialists and regular folks to help out.
